What struck me most during my visit? The number of meandering trails and quiet corners. With tucked-away sitting areas and panoramic views of Saddleback Mountain, the preserve invites you to slow down and get lost.

It started as a community garden and is now a nonprofit run by volunteers who do such an amazing job. You won’t find big crowds - just birdsong, blooms, and peace.
