May The Fourth Be With You

Droids, Jedi, and cosplay collide. Mission Viejo’s Potocki Center goes full Star Wars with trivia, crafts, a scavenger hunt, photo ops with the 501st, and a cosplay contest for galactic bragging rights.
Free and for all ages - bring your inner child (and your outer Chewbacca). Remember, costumes get extra applause.
Saturday May 4th 2:00–4:00pm, Potocki Center for the Arts, 27301 La Paz Rd, Mission Viejo.

☕ Coffee Crawl

Pop-up Cafe in Art Deco Movie Theater
Step into an art deco time capsule, where your coffee comes with a surprise movie on the big screen.
The Lido Theater's pop-up café serves barista-crafted drinks as films play. (There’s no schedule - the movie is part of the pop-up surprise).
Their avocado toast, a steal at $11, was really good, as was the chai latte, making this hidden gem worth the drive.
No ticket required - just arrive between 7am and 2pm daily for this perfect marriage of caffeine and cinematic nostalgia.
The Lido Theater, 3459 via Lido, Newport Beach.
📍Around Town
Most Expensive House in the OC At $70 million, this Newport Coast mansion on 6 Midsummer Dr. is an architectural stunner with a celestial glass dome and a Bond-worthy rotating car gallery. I’m eyeing it on Zillow, manifesting big while our bank account laughs.
Dripping Cave Trail This trail starts in Aliso Viejo and leads to a historic cave once used by bandits. It's a serene hike with a touch of outlaw lore.
Sky High Glow Up - Irvine might soon have aerial gondolas gliding above the Great Park - think all-electric, on-demand pods that could whisk you around and cut down on car traffic. If it happens, Irvine would be the first U.S. city to launch Swyft Cities’ futuristic system.
