Dailey & Vincent are not the kind of band you casually chat over.
The Grand Ole Opry members are known for powerhouse harmonies, razor-sharp musicianship and a live show that moves from hard-driving bluegrass to classic country and gospel without getting stuck in one lane.
They’ll bring a seven-piece band to The Coach House on July 30, mixing original music with familiar covers and songs built to sound better in a room than through a phone speaker.
Jamie Dailey’s current favorite to perform is “It’s a Beautiful Life,” from the duo’s newest record. But the song audiences wait for is still “Ruby.”
“Without a doubt, it’s our hit song ‘Ruby,’” Dailey said.
The duo has collected more than 30 industry awards and performed on some of the country’s biggest stages, but the career moment that still gives them goosebumps is becoming members of the Grand Ole Opry.
For country fans, expect the storytelling and melodies Nashville does best. For bluegrass fans, expect speed, precision and musicians who can genuinely play. And for everyone else, expect the sort of vocal harmonies that make a room go quiet.
Before the show, Dailey and Vincent hope to fit in a trip to the beach.
“Definitely the beach,” they said. “We’re open to recommendations!”
