Happy Wednesday!
If you've been reading The Scene, you've noticed we've been covering line dancing everywhere from bars to senior centers. Turns out Orange County is right on trend. Yelp reports that dance classes are booming, from K-pop, to country western, as people trade screen time for real-life experiences.
Also having a moment: "grandma hobbies." Knitting, quilting, crocheting, and scrapbooking are all seeing a resurgence. So tell us: have you picked up a grandma-hobby lately?
Worth Highlighting
🍷 Private Newport Beach Winery Tour & Tasting
Want to visit one of Orange County's best-kept secrets? On June 13, we've arranged a private tour and tasting at Newport Beach Vineyards & Winery from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The winery is NOT open to the public, making this a rare opportunity. The cost is $65 per person. If you'd like to go, reply to this email. Limited spots.
🥁 A Night with Stewart Copeland
Legendary drummer and Police founder Stewart Copeland will be speaking at The Coach House on June 18. There are fewer than 50 seats remaining and the only way to get them is to CALL or go to the venue (bring cash to save on all service fees). 949-496-8930. HURRY!
To all the new readers, welcome to The Scene… Our motto is: the more you know, the more you’ll go. That’s what this newsletter is all about, sharing ideas big and small to make it easier (and more fun) to get out and enjoy OC.
See you out there!
