📸 This Week’s Snapshot

Enjoying a stroll in nature…

Last weekend’s cooler weather was perfect for getting outside and enjoying some fresh air. We headed to Fullerton in the morning to explore the Arboretum & Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton.

This lovely 26-acre botanical garden features plants from around the world, with winding paths and plenty of shady trees. The photo above was taken beneath a giant wisteria arbor. We’ll definitely be back in spring to see it in full bloom!

Speaking of outdoor strolls, we also want to mention the Niguel Botanical Preserve in Laguna Niguel. It’s one of our favorite local spots for a nature walk. A little smaller and hillier than the Fullerton garden, it’s just as beautiful, with plenty of paths and tucked-away corners to explore. Take your time and enjoy the scenery!

📍Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton
Open 9:00am - 4:00pm every day. FREE entry.

📍Niguel Botanical Preserve
Open dawn to dusk 7-days a week, 365 days a year. FREE entry.

The Robot Boom Is Here. Which Company Comes Out on Top?

Robots are moving into factories, warehouses and hospitals faster than most people realize. When a new industry takes off like this, the instinct is to buy a basket of names and hope one of them hits.

The trouble is that baskets dilute your winners. In a lot of booms, a single company ends up taking the lion's share, while everyone holding the other six watches from the sidelines.

Our report names the one robot company we think comes out on top, and explains why. It normally sells for $19.99, but today it's free. Opt in and we'll also text you alerts on the stock, so you don't miss a move.

🧐 Trivia Answer:

✅ C. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)

Captain Nemo’s Organ

Before it was played by a ghost in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion, this organ belonged to Captain Nemo aboard the Nautilus submarine in Disney's 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, starring James Mason.

The original organ was purchased for just $50! After the movie, it spent 11 years on display in Disneyland's Tomorrowland as part of a walk-through exhibit featuring actual film sets.

When that exhibit closed in 1966, Disney gave the organ another life. It was repainted, fitted with a bat-shaped music stand and new pipes, and installed in the Haunted Mansion ballroom for the attraction's 1969 opening.

More than 70 years later, that same $50 organ is still entertaining Disneyland guests, with a ghostly organist at the keys and spirits emerging from its pipes.

It’s a Wrap!
